Totally breaking the mission trip rules....

Well, that's attractive... What am I thinking with this girl?!

so this is soemthing thats been bugging me and has got me thinking lately so its time for me to write about it and hopefull, God willing, it helps u too.  well im just going to write everything that comes to me and i tthink kinda fits.
Burdens, we all got them, but dont like to admit we do or do not know how to deal with them. well first off in general pray, if u haven't prayed about it, do it right now. Give it to God, tel him everything, yes he knows it already but it helps u too just telling him.  (im also talking about faith and such) Jesus says in Matthew 11:28-30 

28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

its geared more toward salvation and such, but it still applies to all burdens, troubles, or stressful stuff going on.  go to God and u will find rest!  so we go to God and pray. we got to have FAITH! cant just be all doughtful or just a little doughtful of God. we have to trust him and believe that he will answer our prayers.  Hebrews 4:16  

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

James 1:6  But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

we dont even have to ahve words ready to pray to God!!! look at Romans 8:26-27, this just blows me away.  so when we feel like all is lost once agian i say to pray! prayer is powerful! so pray with faith

26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 27And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

James 5:13-16     13Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. 14Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. 16Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

here is the first part of hebrews 11:13

13All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. 

just because we ask for something does not mean that it will come to be, though it can and it may take time! Heb. 11:13, is part of the great chapter of faith.  i highly recomend reading it. 

1 John 5:4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith

so we are Christians(if u are not talk to me please!) and we are then born of God.  so by remaining in him, we can overcome the world and its temptation. 

i always liked when Jesus said to the disciples in Matthew 17:20, i was thinking about this too.  so what if we ask God to move a mountain ok? well pray for God to move Mt Everest, just in general just ask him to move it a little. now read the verse agian.

"Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

guess what?  Mount Everest jsut moved. yes it moves every year a little bit. it actually grows 4 millimeters a year. each and every day it moves a slight little bit :-D  u might not like it but its true.  also God could cause an earth quake and it might move then too.
